At 5am on July 4th, with a long whistle, an international train loaded with famous and distinctive products from the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area, such as office furniture, air conditioning, and small appliances, slowly departed from Guangzhou International Port of Guangzhou Railway Group. By now, there have been 18 international train routes in the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area.
The "China Kyrgyzstan Uzbekistan" international multimodal transportation channel is a public rail multimodal logistics trunk line formed by China, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan. This train is organized and operated by Xinjiang "Zhongjiwu" Multimodal Transport Co., Ltd., a cooperation between Guangwu Holdings Group and Shenzhen Port Group. The entire journey adopts an international multimodal transportation method of container "railway road". After arriving at Kashgar Station by railway, it exits from the Ilkeshtan Port and finally arrives at Tashkent, Uzbekistan. This channel can save about 5 days compared to traditional routes, and has strong timeliness and economy, providing a more convenient and efficient channel for commercial exchanges between the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area and Central Asia.
Central Asia is the first place to advocate the "the Belt and Road" initiative. Under the framework of the joint construction of the "the Belt and Road" initiative and the docking of the development strategies of Central Asian countries, China and Central Asian countries make full use of the complementarity of economic and trade and industrial structure to constantly expand the development space for practical cooperation. Previously, most of the trade transportation from China to Central Asian countries left the country through the Khorgos port through the China Europe Train. With the sharp increase in trade volume, port congestion has intensified, and there is an urgent need to open up a new transportation channel to accelerate the flow of goods. On the one hand, the opening of the "Great Bay Area - China Kyrgyzstan Uzbekistan" multimodal international train has strengthened the economic and trade exchanges between the core area of the Silk Road Economic Belt and the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Great Bay Area; on the other hand, it has opened up the fourth strategic channel for international transportation of China EU trains, formed a spatial layout of "multi-directional extension and sea land connectivity", helped the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Great Bay Area and Xinjiang to deeply participate in the construction of the "the Belt and Road" international cooperation economic corridor, and improved the level of opening up to the outside world.
Xinjiang "Zhongjiwu" Multimodal Transport Co., Ltd. has fully utilized its resource advantages and conducted sufficient research and demonstration around the organization and assembly of goods sources, inspection of train arrivals, and coordination of operation plans. The next step is to normalize the operation of the "China Jilin Ukraine" international rail and rail intermodal train, achieving efficient connectivity of resource elements and industrial linkage between Guangdong and Xinjiang, helping the two regions to efficiently integrate into the new pattern of international and domestic dual circulation development, and promoting high-quality economic development and high-level opening up of the two regions to a new level.
